We offer private coaching sessions to make suggestions and offer advice for your grant proposals, including offering insight on why you may not have received funding in the past and what you can do to improve your proposals to be more competitive in the future.
Whether large, small or a tiny family foundation, every nonprofit organization has their own, very distinct purpose and desire to operate autonomously in support of many diverse causes. As a grant writer, I work to secure funding by writing grant proposals and providing support materials. I enjoy preparing grant proposals, from prospecting and looking for funding to the final award. For over 30 years, I have written proposals for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects, and conducted extensive research to discern the organization's goals, institutional history, program or programs and met critical deadlines.
Grants are not free and should not be an essential piece of the nonprofit’s funding. Your grant application should be valued like a well written business plan. The narrative should be exceptionally detailed, outlining exactly who will do what, and where things will happen

Business Plans

My primary goal is to be available to the SBA and the SBDC’s entrepreneurs who need specialized business plan writing, grant development or request for proposal response services. The Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) is not a competitor, but a central point of contact for finding people who do not want to write a business plan. Not completing your plan, nor starting your business directly affects the federal statutory government-wide’s small businesses impact goal.

A request for proposal (RFP) is a document that solicits proposal, often made through a bidding process, by an agency or company interested in procurement of a commodity, service, or valuable asset, to potential suppliers to submit business proposals. We are here to help you to think it through, and provide cradle-to-the-grave proposal support services. We believe everything you do, from lead qualification through proposal submission, should be based on what it will take to win.
